What It Costs to Train at TNT MMA
Most gyms make you fill out a form to find out the price. We would rather you knew before you drove out to Deer Valley. Here is exactly what membership costs, what comes with it, and what your first month actually looks like.
Every membership is all access. There is no beginner tier or premium tier. Whether you are here for No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, wrestling, the youth program, or the weight room, one membership covers all of it, and you can train as often as you like.
Membership pricing
| Commitment | First Visit rate | Standard rate |
|---|---|---|
| 12 months | $140 / month | $170 / month |
| 3 months | $180 / month | $210 / month |
| Month to month | $200 | $240 |
About the First Visit rate. If you take your free trial class and decide to join, you get the left-hand column. That rate is held for 24 hours after your trial and then the standard rate applies. We are upfront about this so nobody feels surprised at the desk: it is a genuine discount for deciding, not a countdown we invented.
Enrollment fee: $100 per member, one time. It is not a paperwork charge. It is your gear:
- Three TNT training shirts ($60 value)
- Your BJJ belt ($30 value)
- A cinch backpack ($30 value)
- A mouth guard and case ($30 value)
That is $150 of equipment for a $100 fee, and it means you show up to your second class already dressed like everyone else, which matters more than people expect.
If you are not ready to commit
Not everyone should sign a 12-month agreement in week one, and we would rather you tried the room properly first.
- Day pass, $40. One day, any classes on the schedule.
- One week unlimited, $100. Train every class for seven days.
- Punch pass, $250. Ten classes, used whenever you like.
The week of unlimited is the honest recommendation if you are deciding between gyms. Seven days is long enough to be sore, to get tapped by someone smaller than you, and to find out whether you actually want to come back. That is the only test that matters.
What is included in every membership
- Adult No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, all levels
- Teen and Adult Beginner BJJ
- Muay Thai
- Wrestling
- Youth BJJ and Youth MMA (ages 5 to 12)
- Open Mat, three times a week, members only
- Saturday yoga and mobility (bi-weekly)
Straight answers to the questions we actually get asked
Is there a contract?
Yes, on the 3-month and 12-month plans. That is what makes those rates lower than the monthly price. If you would rather not commit, the 1-month option and the passes above exist for exactly that reason.
Can my whole family train on one membership?
Membership is per person, and the enrollment fee is per member. Families train here constantly, often a parent in the 5:30 adult class while their kid is in the 4:00 youth class. Ask Scott about family arrangements when you come in.
Do I need to buy a Gi?
No. TNT is a No-Gi school, so you train in shorts and a rash guard or the shirts that come with enrollment. That is one of the real cost differences between us and a traditional Gi academy, where a Gi runs $80 to $200 before you have trained once.
What do I need for my first class?
Shorts, a t-shirt, water, and nothing else. Everything else can wait until you know you like it.
How often should I train to actually get somewhere?
Twice a week is where people start to see real change. Three times a week is where it gets fast. Because membership is unlimited, the honest answer is that the price per class is entirely up to how much you use it.
