Scott Tannenbaum has spent more than 40 years turning real-world fighting experience into a Martial Art that actually works. Promoted to 6th degree black belt directly by Red Belt Rigan Machado — the legendary 9th degree red-and-black coral belt whose lineage traces back to the Gracie family itself — Scott is recognized as the only 6th degree No-Gi BJJ black belt in the state of Arizona.
He isn’t a tournament black belt. He isn’t a YouTube coach. He’s a guy who spent decades in gyms, cages, seminars, and fight teams across the U.S., Brazil, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Thailand, Japan, and beyond — figuring out what keeps you safe when things go sideways, and now teaches that to every student who walks through the doors of TNT MMA Training Center in Phoenix.
